Eligibility

Applicants must be a nonprofit organization or governmental entity. (Either have 501 (c) (3) designation or use an an approved fiscal agent.)

Special Initiatives:

The Foundation may define and develop targeted grant programs, and invite partnerships for special initiatives in order to effectively address areas of need aligned with our values and priorities.

Preference given to funding requests from:

* the Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan area

​*western Iowa within 100 miles of Omaha


Grant Terms:

Approved grants come with conditions detailed in grant documents. Foundation funds are paid out when a project is completed, or based on Foundation award agreements. All grants are structured to ensure the project will be completed, and help the grantee raise the balance of funds needed for project success.

​Motivation

The Foundation began as a focused way to affect positive change for children living in poverty. 

  • High impact, results-oriented projects and programs which support children living in poverty
  • Partnership programs with schools & organizations fostering job skill fundamentals, especially of the Building Construction Trades
